Scheherazade Fundation – the best friend of children with special problems from the Marie Curie hospital.

On the 9th of June 2009, the second floor of the Marie Curie hospital was reopened after the renovation. The pediatric orthopedic section of the hospital was renovated with the support of Wolf Theiss Law Firm who donated 150,000 Euros for the renovation project.

The number one priority for the renovation of the Marie Curie hospital for children was to take care of several aspects: hygiene, redecorating, rearranging the space and perhaps the most important aspect which was to equip the hospital with medical equipment of last generation. For the renovation, antibacterial materials were used for the floors, walls and the windows. New heating system and air conditioning equipment was installed. All the renovation was done in accordance with the EU standards. All this has led to a major improvement in hospital condition, which helped the ever-increasing number of patients receiving treatment in this hospital, the satisfaction of the parents and children not to mention the hospital doctors.
